Dallas R. Ivey, Counsel with the firm, has extensive experience in real estate and title insurance including transactional and litigation work in a variety of practice settings. Mr. Ivey is a former partner at a multi-state law firm representing financial institutions including banks, credit unions, mortgage servicing concerns, and other commercial clients.
Mr. Ivey’s transactional experience includes title examination, issuing title certificates, underwriting, issuing title insurance commitments and policies, and commercial loan closings.
Mr. Ivey’s litigation experience includes business litigation, real estate litigation, and title litigation in cases before the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and all U.S. District Courts in Georgia.
Mr. Ivey earned his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2002 and holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Georgia State University, earned in 1998, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia, earned in 1993.
